At Privnote Pro, privacy is taken very seriously, since the main purpose of our services is to preserve it. This privacy policy outlines the measures taken by Privnote Pro to protect the privacy of its users.

Service description:

Privnote Pro is a free to use web based service that allows its users to create encrypted, private, temporary messages, that they can share over the internet, via email or instant messenger, as a unique, one-time-use, HTTPS URL (hereafter referred to as a link), which by default expires after its first access via any web browser, or on/at the self-destruct date/time set by the sender.

As Privnote Pro does not provide any means for transmitting the generated link, the act of sending the link is therefore the full responsibility of Privnote Pro users and not Privnote Pro.

When the recipient clicks the Privnote Pro private link, Privnote Pro declines any responsibility related to the note/message content.

How do we protect your messages?

We have implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of the private messages that you send using our platform. Your messages content is contained behind secured networks. These networks are only accessible by a limited number of Privnote Pro server technicians who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information they have access to confidential. All sensitive information you supply in your message is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then highly encrypted, to only ever be accessed by the intended recipient. 

Do we use ‘Cookies’?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow it) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognise your browser and then capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services.
